Riesling is alive and kicking in the old factory

Riesling is alive and kicking in the old factory
My name is Hans-Joachim Klose and I work as an IT systems architect. As a Rheingauer, interest in wine is firmly in my blood. That’s why I founded a winery in 1995- enjoying the freedom of a winemaker who does not have to live from wine. Our winepress is in a beautiful former factory in Geisenheim. It is here that today we carefully make the werk2 Rieslings. It would be a shame to use this wonderful brick building only for wine making. So, step by step we are converting the old halls into an exciting location. To live in, to work in and to celebrate in

Together is more fun. Especially our wine events.
In January, when the wines and nature are resting, we celebrate the winter period in werk2. Enjoying our fine Rieslings in cozy get-togethers. With customers and friends. It would be our pleasure to do this with you too. During the summer months we open our cellar doors and for ten days transform werk2 into a so-called "Straußwirtschaft" (small wine tavern).
During the tasting days in May and September we invite you to get to know us and our new vintage.
In the Garagenkult “Garage –cult” days, wine lovers coolly meet, as the name suggests, in our garage. With atmospheric lighting and fresh Riesling the werk's lounge with live music and relaxed atmosphere crowns the werk2 idea.
